Was unbelievable.

Thursday, I got up, bought Kerrang, went to Darlington train station, trained to York, changed to Liverpool, and was met at the station by EXPENSIVE TOILETS. 30p for a wee? Great.

Anyway. We got a lift from father's friend to out hotel, which was the Premier Inn RIGHT OPPOSITE THE ARENA! Like, not 100metres away!!! It was amazing! So I won't go into what we did much, but we had tea in a resteraunt that was playing constant Muse <3 <3 In preparation for the gig 8D and wandered around the docks for a bit. Eat an ant? No thanks.

So preparations. It's chucking it down and I left my facepaint at home D: but Mother loves me enough to let me write MUSE across my face in eyeliner!! which was awesome! And so we ran over to the arena, and I felt so happy and at home, because there were SO MANY PEOPLE in tshirts and hoodies with Muse on them! It was great!!

And then we went in.

And were bombarded with MUSE. Bought a programme for £12, which had stickers and postcards in <3 yum! Then we went to the merch stall, Mother had a blonde moment and Megan got a tshirt and a mug, which made me incredibly happy I can tell you 8D

Got into the seats (yes, they were seats ) at about 7ish, and the support, The Big Pink, came on at about half past. They were pretty good, but the combination of loud rock music and very very very flashy white lights made me feel somewhat sleepy.

So after that, we sat for a bit, and the arena slowly got fuller, and Barry came along! Barry is a very cool, 60-odd rocker/hippie type dude, and he was way cool xD And he sat next to us.

And then it all went dark.

At the back of the stage, there were these three tower things, a base, a gap, then a top part, but they were covered in huge cloths so they just looked solid. And when it went dark, the intro music came on, and the towers looked like blocks of flats with lights in the windows come in on one by one. And then when they were all on, everyone screamed, and then there were these, like, shadow people, walking up and down these stairs, and the music was getting louder and louder.

And then they ripped down the cloths, Muse were stood on the towers and they ROCKED with Uprising to start with!!! And the whole night, it just got better and better. I adored it. I was a lone seated mosher xD (not that I sat down at all after Muse came on xD ) and apparently the whole floor on our row was shaking because of me, but it was so fantastic I don't care! LOVE.

There was very little crowd interaction, would be my only crit. BUT WHO CARES? I'VE SEEN MUSE LIVE, AND I AM SOO HAPPY!!!
